A Mt. Ulla man was injured Sunday about 4 p.m. when his motorcycle collided with a car on Mooresville Road.
N.C. State Highway Patrol Trooper C.T. Walker said Coreen Ramos, 41, of Salisbury was driving west on Mooresville Road when she failed to yield while turning left into a private residence, causing Merlin Pogson, who was traveling east toward Salisbury, to collide with her black Toyota passenger car.
Pogson was transported to Rowan Regional Medical Center with complaints of a shoulder injury, Walker said. Pogson was conscious and his injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Ramos has been charged with failure to yield while making a left turn.
