Drury 70th Anniversary

Harry Shafer Drury and Dorothy Novella Holshouser Drury of Granite Quarry celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Oct. 31, 2012. They were married Oct. 31, 1942, at Ursinus Evangelical and Reformed Church in Rockwell by the Rev. A.R. Tosh.

Harry retired as the owner/operator of Salisbury Oil Co. after 35 years. Dorothy retired as the cafeteria manager at Faith Elementary School.


The Drurys have two children, Harriet Fisher of Salisbury and Terry and wife Marie Drury of Granite Quarry. They also have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Celebrations for the couple included a family dinner held Oct. 31 at The Outback Steakhouse and a luncheon hosted by St. LukeÕs Reformed Church at Blue Bay Seafood Restaurant on Nov. 11.
