ROCKWELL — Three teenage brothers — along with a fourth teen and a heavy blue backpack — were taken into custody Tuesday evening.
Justin Wayne Coe, 16; Jeffery Ian Coe, 17; and James Edward Coe, 19, were arrested at their home on Fisher Road in Rockwell about 10 p.m.
A fourth teen, Franklin Lee Williams, 16, was also arrested.
All four were charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.
James Coe was also charged with felony larceny of a firearm and felony possession of a stolen firearm.
Authorities said the teens broke into a Chevrolet Silverado. A 9mm Ruger handgun was taken from the truck.
Inside a backpack found in the teens’ possession authorities found more items believed to have been stolen, including several prescription pill bottles inscribed with various names, arrest reports said.
Gloves, knives, several cords and a dollar-bill print wallet were among the items seized for evidence.
Some of the items’ owners have been identified. Others remain unknown.
Anyone with information about the stolen property is asked to contact Lt. Chad Moose at 704-216-8687.
