The Friends of the Stanly County Library will hold their fall book sale on Oct. 11, 12 and 13 in the lower level of the library’s main branch on Main Street in Albemarle. On Wednesday evening (Oct. 10), Friends members only can shop for books from 4-8 p.m. On Oct. 11 and 12 the sale is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Oct. 13 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Prices range from 25 cents to $1. On Saturday from 12-2 p.m. buy a bag of books for only a $1.
Proceeds help the Friends of the Stanly County Library support public library services in all branches.
