Salisbury Police Officer Wiley Lamm died today after a long battle with cancer.
Lamm was the victim advocacy officer for the Salisbury Police Department, where he’d worked 19 years and was recently named its veteran of the year. He was instrumental in organizing an annual Christmas bike giveaway sponsored by the department and Gerry Wood auto dealerships.
He was diagnosed in January with an advanced stage of cancer, which started near his pancreas and moved into his bones.
