Tate ~ Correll

ADVANCE — Tamra Jade Tate and Jason Andrew Correll of Mocksville were united in a hilltop ceremony on June 23, 2012, at The Stables at Riverview. The Rev. Timothy Wolf officiated at the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Pamela Tate of Winston-Salem. Her grandparents are Rosie Standard of Winston-Salem and the late W.C. Standard. A graduate of West Forsyth High School and Catawba College, she is employed with Verizon Wireless in Winston-Salem.
The groom is the son of        Danny and Teresa Correll of Mocksville. Jason is the grandson of Howard and Easter Correll, DeWilla Smith and the late Gene Smith, all of Mocksville. A graduate of Davie High School and Catawba College, he is employed with Verizon Wireless in Mooresville.
Escorted by her mother, Jade was attended by Jessica Shermer, matron of honor; Kari Standard, maid of honor; Rebecca O’Neal, Aubrey Draughn and Jamie Ellzey.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Chad Correll and Seth Correll, brothers of the groom; Ryan O’Neal, Justin Draughn, Jason McCray, Britt Osborne and Jeremiah Creason.
Flower girls were Bella O’Neal and Honor Draughn. Ring bearer was Mason Shermer. Landon Correll and Ryley Shermer were flag bearers. Guest registry attendants were Mandy Correll and Casey Petticord. Ceremony music was performed by soloist/guitarist Darryl Hoots.  
Wedding directors were Amber Speakman and Danielle Marion. Other key wedding contributors were Casey Watson, Megan Masencup, Jason Shermer, Lyle and Lori Lashmit, Teena and Freddie Franklin.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held in The Stables. Music was provided by Knuckles Deep band and DJ Kurt Myers. On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a lakeside rehearsal dinner at Camp Manna. Music was provided by country artist Dustin York.
Following a wedding trip to Mayan Riviera, Mexico, the Corrells are making their home in Mocksville.
