South Main Street store owner closing after two robberies
During a recent robbery, store owner Gerald ‘Jerry’ Burkhart was hit over the head with a metal tire iron.
Gerald Burkhart keeps a log that has the information on every person he buys items from for his flea market. Burkhart purchased some items from a man that would return to the store to rob him. Burkhart’s friend Richard Ray, left, comes in to help out and give support.
