Ellie Kasrawi, Gisele Scimone, and James Kasrawi from Chapel Hill look at a exhibit of pottery and Cowrie shells. The shells were used for money in West Africa to buy slaves for America. The display to the left is a painting of a slave ship landing at Jamestown and is titled " Many Came in Chains."
