North Rowan High Senior Jesse Pinkston , dressed in his senior cap and gown accepts a ceremonial diplomia from North Rowan principal Darrell McDowell in the chapel at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Pinkston's mother Harriet, has been in the ICU at RRMC since January 2nd battling a long list of ailments. One wish for Harriet was to live long enough to see Jesse graduate high school. When it became evident that time was growing short, a hastily organized graduation ceremony was at the hospitial.
