Rowan airport hosts WWII-era B-17 ‘Memphis Belle’ for restoration work

A World War II B-17 Bomber is undergoing a upgrade on the interior by Carolina Avionics at the Rowan County Airport. Bryan Wilson, Billy Wilson and Daniel Gardener work to remove the seats from the cockpit of the plane. The cushions are one of the things that the plane is getting replaced. Photo by Jon C.
