NEW YORK (AP) — DeShawn Sims scored 18 points and Manny Harris added 15 to help Michigan upset No. 4 UCLA 55-52 on Thursday night in the semifinals of the 2K Sports Classic.
The Wolverines will face No. 10 Duke in the championship game Friday night. The Blue Devils beat Southern Illinois 83-58 in the first semifinal at Madison Square Garden.
Michigan, which ended a seven-game losing streak to UCLA, lost to Duke 95-67 on Dec. 8, 2007.
No. 13 Memphis 83, Chattanooga 71
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Doneal Mack scored 19 points, and Shawn Taggart had 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead Memphis over Chattanooga in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
Mack went 5-for-9 from 3-point range for the Tigers (3-0), who had four scorers in double figures. Robert Dozier added 18 points and eight rebounds.
No. 18 Florida 64, Southern Utah 50
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Nick Calathes had 18 points and seven rebounds, leading Florida past Southern Utah night despite one of the worst 3-point shooting performances in team history.
Calathes was the only Florida player to score in double figures. The Gators (3-0) went 1-for-16 on 3s and barely extended their school-record streak of consecutive games with at least one 3-pointer to 546.
Seton Hall 63, No. 19 Southern California 61
SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — Jeremy Hazell scored 17 points and Eugene Harvey hit a free throw with 5 seconds remaining to help Seton Hall beat Southern California in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — A.D. Vassallo scored 24 points in his return to his homeland and Jeff Allen added 18 Thursday as Virginia Tech beat Fairfield 74-57 in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip Off.
Vassallo, a native of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, made 9 of 16 shots.
The Hokies (3-0) bolted to a 24-11 lead before Fairfield (1-2) closed to within 40-31 by halftime. The Stags later got within 51-47 with 12:38 to play, but the Hokies scored 23 of the next 29 points to clinch it.
Florida St. 79, Stetson 77
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Toney Douglas scored 20 of his game-high 26 points in the second half and Ryan Reid drew a charging call at the buzzer, preserving Florida State's 79-77 home-opening victory over Stetson on Thursday night.
Douglas scored 14 of the Seminoles' (3-0) final 20 points, capped by a pair of free throws with 1:02 remaining for a 79-75 lead.
