Jeff Wagner won Atwell’s first place with a nine-pointer.
Ted Corriher received cash and a trophy for second place with his eight-point buck.
Sam Biggerstaff won fourth place and received a hunting knife.
Ryan Pless came in third and won a hunting knife.

Jeff Wagner won Atwell One Stop's big buck contest with a nine-pointer ranked on the Boone and Crockett scale.

He also harvested a seven-pointer this season. Wagner received cash and a trophy for winning.

Ted Corriher was second and also received cash and a trophy for his eight-point buck.

Ryan Pless came in third and won a hunting knife. Sam Biggerstaff was fourth and also got a hunting knife.

Atwell One Stop and Gameroom, in southern Rowan County on N.C. 152, recently became a wildlife agent.

The first deer registered at Atwell was harvested by Shawn Black, a seven-point buck taken with a muzzleloader.

Others that checked in deer were Aaron Deaton with a large doe, George Link with a doe and Johnny Brown with a doe.
