• Maupin Avenue Presbyterian Church free Christmas eve dinner, 1-5 p.m., Dec. 24, Maupin Avenue Presbyterian Church followed by candlelight service at 6 p.m. 100 Maupin Ave., 704-633-9101.

• Sacred Heart Catholic Church Christmas Masses. Friday, Christmas Eve, children’s Mass, 5 p.m.; youth Mass, 7 p.m.; Mass in Spanish, 9 p.m.; Christmas caroling, 11:15 p.m. Christmas Day, midnight Mass, 12 a.m.; Mass at dawn, 9 a.m.; Mass during the day, 10:30 a.m.

• Faith Lutheran Church Christmas eve candlelight services, 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., both with Holy Communion. The 10:30 service includes the Faith Lutheran Handbell Choir. 205 S. Main St.

• United House of Prayer for All People, kitchen closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
