- West Rowan Seniors disbanding after 40 years. Final meeting: 11:30 a.m., Oct. 27. Hobby fair and covered dish lunch at Amity Lutheran Church.

- The R.A. Clement Association will meet Saturday, 9 a.m., Allen Temple Presbyterian Church, Cleveland.

- J.C. Price High School Alumni Association, Salisbury chapter, meeting 5 p.m. Saturday at the home of Mrs. Iler Davis, 1110 Barbour St. New members welcome. - Yard sale, barbecue chicken, baked goods for sale at home of Agnes Gray, 1144 Laurel St., to benefit Senior Missionary of the Hall's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, Saturday. Yard sale begins 8 a.m., dinners at 11:30 a.m.

- United House of Prayer for All People kitchen open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

- Prayer ministry breakfast, Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 9 a.m. Saturday.Speaker: Dr. Martha Starks, pastor of Word of Life Family Worship Center. Open to public. 704-633-5057.
