Posters deadline is 5 p.m.

• Faith Temple Triumphant Ministries Inc. will hold a fundraising pancake breakfast at O’Charley’s Restaurant, 123 N. Arlington St., 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday. Cost is $6. Henry C. Diggs is the church’s pastor.

• The Democratic Party of Rowan County will meet on Thursday at The Rowan County Administration Building, 130 W. Innes St., 7 p.m. Speaker will be Dr. Michael Bitzer from the department of history and politics, Catawba College, who will talk about Rowan County voting patterns in the last election. Everyone is welcome.
