- The Salisbury Chapter of the J.C. Price High School Alumni Association will meet Saturday at 5 p.m. at home of Mrs. Iler Davis, 1110 Barbour St. New members welcome. For more information, contact Carolyn Williams, president, 704-633-7162.

- Wittenberg Lutheran Church, corner of Bank and Oak streets, Granite Quarry, monthly breakfast, Saturday, 6:30-10:30 a.m.; children 6 and under free; $6 for 6 years and over.

- United House of Prayer for All People kitchen open Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
