Deadline for posters is 5 p.m.

- The United House of Prayer for All People kitchen will be open Friday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., closed Satuday and open Sunday 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

- Young Family annual reunion of descendants of Barnett and Catherine (Swicegood) Young, early settlers in Davidson County, will be held at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, at the Smith Grove Baptist Church, 3462 Sowers Road, Linwood (Churchland area). Covered dish. Contact Anne Orrell, 336-752-2480.

- Dixonville-Lincoln community association meeting will be held Saturday, July 18, at 5 p.m. at Hall's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, 611 E. Monroe St.
