- Monthly breakfast, 6:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Wittenberg Lutheran Church, corner of Bank and Oak streets in Granite Quarry. Donation; children 6 and under free.

- Ridenhour Family Reunion, 1 p.m. Sunday under the Ridenhour Family Picnic Arbor at 1042 Pine Ridge Road, Cooleemee. Bring lawn chairs. For more information, contact Rachel Ridenhour Spry at 704-636-5329.
