RCCC offers certificates in supervision, customer service

The Corporate & Professional Development Office at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer two short-term certificate training programs in the evening this fall.

Rowan-Cabarrus will offer the “Basic Supervision Certificate” program 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 6 – Oct. 4. The course fee is $335, including class materials. The basic supervision course teaches principles of interpersonal communication, effective listening, how to give constructive feedback, how to delegate work for shared success and how to provide recognition.

In today’s world, good customer service goes a long way. Rowan-Cabarrus will also offer a customer service course that instills behaviors for acknowledging and responding appropriately to a customer’s needs to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty, as well as organizational success.

This in-depth study includes modules on caring for customers, healing customer relationships, dazzling your customers and reaching for stellar customer service. The $399 tuition for this 24-hour course includes all class materials. Classes run 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 7-Oct. 12.
