Fundraiser for diabetes alert dog Aug. 18

A fundraiser for Abigail Eagle and Caden Farmer to get a diabetes alert dog will be held Saturday, Aug. 18, at Kannapolis Recreation Park, 5-9 p.m.
The event will include a live band, a drawing, prizes and more.
Cost is $5 per person, including swimming and water slides.
