Teens fight at Faith Fourth

The Faith Fourth of July activities had barely gotten underway when the first fight broke out.

A fence, a sign and a baby stroller were damaged.

The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office charged two teens with fighting Monday night shortly before 11 p.m.

Deputies charged Daniel Ray Hadnott, 18, and Jeffrey Allen Ramsey with injury to personal property.

Damage to property totaled $195.

Other reports or charges from the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office:

• Deputies recovered a stolen trailer worth $9,300 from a location on Pop Stirewalt Road.

The trailer had been sold by Hale Trailer Brake and Wheel in Jefferson, Maine, and was stolen from Timber Specialists in Statesville.

• Two flat screen televisions were stolen from a home on Young Road on June 26.

Tanya Bailey Brown reported the theft of a 38-inch Samsung and a 50-inch Panasonic HD television.

A Browning 7.62 mm rifle valued at $700 was also taken.

• James Michael Wilkinson of Swansboro reported the theft of a Trane air conditioning unit, valued at $3,000, from a house in the 9000 block of N.C. 152,Mooresville.

The unit was taken between June 20 and June 27.

• Vandals did hundreds of dollars in damage to the tires on four cars parked on Briarwood Drive on June 27.

Tonya V. Wilks reported the vandalism occurred between 3 and 4 a.m.

Damage to the four sets of tires was estimated at $2,500.

• Carl Broadway of Broadway Loop, Kannapolis, reported the theft of his white and brown dog, a fei

st.

The dog was last seen on June 14.
