Hairston Funeral Home seeks nominees for ScholarshipBenefit
The Hairston Funeral Home Honors/Scholarship Committee is accepting nominations from individuals, churches, civic organizations, schools and volunteer organizations within the community of Salisbury and Rowan County for the first Hairston Funeral Home Honors/ Scholarship Benefit, which will honor Ordinary People with Extraordinary Gifts (OPEG).
Youth honorees must be 16 years and up and currently in school. In conjunction with the honors event, Hairston Funeral Home Inc. is launching its first scholarship effort to be awarded to high-school graduates, who live in the Salisbury/Rowan area and whose goal is to matriculate to a college or university of their choice. Information regarding the scholarship will be announced at a later date.
