Cassie, Andy up for adoption

Among the animals waiting for adoption at the Rowan County Animal Shelter:
Dog: Cassie is a 2-year-old female Jack Russell terrier mix. She is a sweet girl and is has already been housebroken. Cassie and her sister, Carmen, are both hoping to be adopted by their future best friend. IDs 46453 and 46452.
Cat: Andy is a female black and orange tortoiseshell. She is 1 year old and loves getting attention. She is hoping to get adopted soon into a loving home. ID 46495.
Rowan County Animal Control Shelter hours are Monday–Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 8-11 a.m. The shelter is at 1465 Julian Road; 704-216-7768.
Adoption fee is $70.
