Sprint for Hunger March 11
The Mt. Pleasant Food Ministry will be hosting the annual Spring Ahead Sprint 5k Run for Hunger on March 11 at Mt. Pleasant High School, 700 Walker Road, Mt. Pleasant.
There will also be a 2M Walk for Hunger, and a 1M Kid’s Fun Run. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the 5K Run starts at 2 p.m. To register online, go to www.active.com and search 5K. All proceeds benefit the Mt. Pleasant Food Ministry, serving needy families in Eastern Cabarrus County since 2005. For questions or more information, call 704-436-6113.
