As part of its 40th anniversary year, Historic Salisbury Foundation will be holding a contest. Each month, the foundation will provide two “before” photographs of the more than 100 properties it has successfully preserved or saved over the past four decades. There will be questions about each property. On the picture of the house, left bottom, where was it originally located and to where was it moved? On the other photo of the brick building, left top, the questions are, where is this building located and what was its original use? In this space next Tuesday, the “after” pictures of these same properties will be displayed, with the correct answers and names of people who answered today’s questions correctly. At the end of the monthly series later in the year, the person with the most correct answers will receive a prize from the foundation. Submit your answers by email to volunteer@historicsalisbury.org by Thursday afternoon and be sure to include your name.
