Troop 401 advancements
Boy Scout Troop 401 has announced its 2011 third- and fourth-quarter advancements.
Merit Badges earned
Corey Beaver earned Aviation, Canoeing, Wilderness Survival merit badges.
Joe Cornacchione earned the Climbing, Life Saving, Pets.
Sam Cornacchione earned CitW, Climbing, Pets, Wood Carving.
Ryan Lasker earned the CitN, CitW, Communications, Enviro Science.
Will Murdoch earned the Camping, Emergency Prep, Personal Fitness, Swimming.
Ben Sunding earned the CitN, CitW, Communications, Emergency Prep, Music, Personal Fitness, Pets, Wilderness Survival.
Jonathon Watson earned the Wilderness Survival.
Zack Williams earned the CitW, Leatherwork, Mammal Study merit badges.
Ranks earned
• First Class: Miles Bailey
• Star: Ryan Lasker, Ben Sunding, Andrew Timmerman
In 55 years, the troop has presented 3,229 merit badges to its dedicated Scouts. The troop earned the 2011 Camp John J. Barnhardt Neal Armstrong Honor Unit Award.
