Sacred Heart Beta Club

Sacred Heart Catholic School inducted 27 new members into its Junior Beta Club.

That brings the total membership to 65 students in grades five through eight.

The students must maintain an A average in all core classes including religion.

Members of the club are active throughout the year with service projects and works of charity.

A few members will be representing the school at the state convention in Greensboro on Feb. 6 and 7.

The members will attend workshops and take part in language arts, science, social studies, battle of the books, quiz bowl, art, photography and banner competitions.
