Water heater and furnace stolen

A Salisbury man is out a water heater and an oil furnace after a break-in at a house at 265 Elliott Drive.

A Rowan County Sheriff's Office report show thieves took the oil furnace, water heater and assorted tools owned by David Steven Elliott of White Farm Road.

The theft occurred between Jan. 1 and Jan. 11. Among the tools taken were a Dewalt rotor zip, a biscuit joiner and $800 worth of vinyl siding. The total value of items taken was estimated at $2,800.

Other reports or charges from the the Sheriff's Office:

- Christopher Terry Wilhelm, 1730 Country Hill Drive, reported someone pulled a gun on him outside the Buccaneer Lounge on Barringer Road. He was not injured.

- Gary Lee Harding was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture.
