A daughter, Kaydence Aria, was born to Brandy Heddle and Brandon Butner of Kannapolis on Oct. 25, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. A son, Ethan Daniel, was born to Daniel and Brandi Pritchard Overby of China Grove on Oct. 21, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 8 pounds, 1.8 ounces. Cash Ritchie

A son, Cash Maclaren, was born to Brittany and Alan Ritchie of Salisbury on Oct. 27, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces. He has a brother, Crew, 2. Grandparents are Gary and Sylvia Ritchie of China Grove, and Chris and Crystal O'Guin of Salisbury. A son, Connor Joseph, was born to Daniel and Shannon DiCarlo of Cleveland on Oct. 22, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 14.5 ounces. He has a brother, Chanse Hengel, 15. Grandparents are Dale and Barbara Waller of Woodleaf, Peggy DiCarlo of Waterloo, N.Y., and Pete and Crystal Hengel of Billings, Mont.

Rylee Hurlocker

A daughter, Rylee Rae, was born to Jeremy and Melissa Hurlocker of Linwood on Oct. 21, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 11.6 ounces. Grandparents are Ray and Shelia Hurlocker of Faith, Pam Whitaker of Linwood and Scott Whitaker of Sanford. Great-grandparents are Ray and Mary Whitaker of Carthage, Preston and Sylvia Childress of Cameron and Betty Perkins of Concord.

Kevin Hipp

A son, Kevin Lane, was born to Wendy Hipp of Rockwell on Oct. 22, 2008, at Forsyth Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 8.1 ounces. He has a brother, David James. Grandparents are James and Jeacolia Hipp of Rockwell. Great-grandparents are Marie Karriker of China Grove and James and Becky Hipp of Indiana.
