A daughter, Kaydence Aria, was born to Brandy Heddle and Brandon Butner of Kannapolis on Oct. 25, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Grandparents are David and Karen Heddle of Cameron, S.C., and Glenn and Teressa Craven, Ty and Pam Allman and Charles Butner, all of Salisbury. A son, Ethan Daniel, was born to Daniel and Brandi Pritchard Overby of China Grove on Oct. 21, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 8 pounds, 1.8 ounces. Rylee Hurlocker
A daughter, Rylee Rae, was born to Jeremy and Melissa Hurlocker of Linwood on Oct. 21, 2008, at Lexington Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 11.6 ounces. Grandparents are Ray and Shelia Hurlocker of Faith, Pam Whitaker of Linwood and Scott Whitaker of Sanford. Great-grandparents are Ray and Mary Whitaker of Carthage, Preston and Sylvia Childress of Cameron and Betty Perkins of Concord.

A son, Kevin Lane, was born to Wendy Hipp of Rockwell on Oct. 22, 2008, at Forsyth Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 8.1 ounces. He has a brother, David James. Grandparents are James and Jeacolia Hipp of Rockwell. Great-grandparents are Marie Karriker of China Grove and James and Becky Hipp of Indiana.
