William Kluttz IV

A son, William Clarence, was born to MacLean and Bill Kluttz of San Diego, Calif. on Oct. 19, 2009, at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, Calif. He weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces. Grandparents are Susan and Bill Kluttz of Salisbury and Lyl and Aaron Clinard of High Point. Great-grandparents are Mabel Clinard of Thomasville and Hector MacLean of Lumberton.

Jacob Moose

A son, Jacob Matthew, was born to Jennifer and Justin Moose of Concord on Oct. 6, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces. He has a brother, Alex Brown, 6, and a sister, Brianna Brown, 9. Grandparents are Tony Hatley of Concord, Bob Reed and Debbie Hatley of Salisbury, and Eric and Traci Hendley of Mt. Ulla. Great-grandparents are Bill and Frances Hatley of Mt. Pleasant and Wayne and Dolly Moose of Mt. Ulla. Great-great-grandparents are Lon and Maenell Honeycutt of China Grove.

Harper Jones

A daughter, Harper Lennon, was born to Jerame and Marie Nurisso Jones of Raleigh on Oct. 16, 2009, at Western Wake Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. She has a sister, Indiana Glenn, 21 months. Grandparents are Neil and Annick Nurisso of Salisbury and Glenn and Margi Jones of Mt. Ulla. Great-grandparents are Margret Sloop and Don and Mary Jones, all of Salisbury and Johnny and Denise Lelonek of Clawson, Mich.

Trinity Cochran

A daughter, Trinity Brielle, was born to Christina and James Cochran of Salisbury on Aug. 28, 2009, at Rowan Regional Hospital. She weighed 5 pounds, 10.5 ounces. Grandparents are Jimmy Stamper of Salisbury, Pat Wale of Rockwell, Michael Cochran of Marion and the late Joyce Cochran. Great-grandparents are William and Frances Edwards of Mooresville.

Claire Nance

A daughter, Claire Madison, was born to Badley Joel and Mandy Mills Nance of Woodleaf on Oct. 19, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces. She has a brother, Cameron Adam, 2. Grandparents are Gary and Peggy Mills of Spencer and William and Carolyn Nance of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Naomi Lingle of Spencer, Troy Mills of Salisbury, and Geraldine Green of Stanley.

Da 'Miyah Jefferies-Litaker

A daughter, Da 'Miyah Zonnique, was born to Tyiea Jefferies and Michael Litaker of Salisbury on Aug. 23, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 5.5 ounces. She has a brother, Da 'Rius Zy 'Quanja Jefferies-Litaker. Grandparents are Tracy Jefferies-Quillian, Gregory Oglesby, Tracy Turner, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Aaron Peek, Evelyn Peek, Katherine Rhodes, Aaron Litaker, Yvonne Edwards, all of Salisbury.

Koltt Fraley

A son, Koltt Hunter, was born to Stacy and Brandy Kemp Fraley of Richfield on Sept. 15, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces. He has two brothers, Wesley Walker, 8, and Macallister Sloan, 18 months. Grandparents are Virginia Kemp of Gold Hill, Wayne and Dottie Fraley of Faith, and Bobby Kemp of Gold Hill. Great-grandparents are Virginia Morgan of Rockwell and Lelia Kemp of Kannapolis.

Juliana Guirguis

A daughter, Juliana Erin, was born to Jennifer Starnes Guirguis and James Guirguis of Utica, N.Y. on Sept. 2, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces. She has two sisters: Isabelle Marie, 4, and Lydia Elizabeth, 2. Grandparents are Kim and Connie Starnes of Salisbury and Said and Minerva Guirguis of Clearwater Beach, Fla. Great-grandparents are Monroe and Peggy Miller and Marjorie Starnes, all of Salisbury, and Zezaf Awad of Alexandria, Egypt.

AuMarie Miller

A daughter, AuMarie Leigh, was born to Samantha Nicole Miller of Salisbury on Oct. 20, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 5 pounds, 9 ounces. Grandparents are Scott and Colette Phillips. Great-grandparents are Don and Mary Jane Phillips of New London, Charlotte Miller of Salisbury, and Robert Miller of Kannapolis.
