Nathaniel Raywood

A son, Nathaniel Seven Lee, was born to Morgan Leigh Raywood of Salisbury on Sept. 9, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 8 1/2 ounces. Grandparents are Frank and Sheree Trimmer and LeRoy (Lee) Raywood, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Ernest and Pat Throckmorton of Newport News, Va.

Paisley Miller

A daugher, Paisley Gwyn, was born to Callie and Brandon Miller of Salisbury on Sept. 9, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Grandparents are Kay and Kent Houghton, Teresa Miller, James and Hilda Miller, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Iron and Arlene Bare of Kannapolis.

Cameron Young

A son, Cameron Dean, was born to Keri Allman-Young and Jeremy Young of Salisbury, on Sept. 20, 2009, at NorthEast Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. He has one brother, Charlie, 5. Grandparents are Jerry and Judye Allman of Salisbury and Mike and Gail Young of Faith.

Peyton Youngblood

A daughter, Peyton Elisabeth, was born to Wynne and 1st Lt. Jeffrey Youngblood of Salisbury on Sept. 11, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Grandparents are Joyce Yates of Granite Quarry and David Heno of Fort Myers, Fla. and Jeff and Robin Youngblood of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Fritz Heno of Salisbury and Crawford and Louise Self of Trap Hill and Herman and Helen Youngblood of Walterboro, S.C.

Rylee Delph

A daughter, Rylee Adams, was born to Jennifer and Kevin Delph of Salisbury on Sept. 12, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds. 14 1/2 ounces. She has one brother, Brennan, 2. Grandparents are Donald and Cathy Adams of Salisbury, Karen Delph of Rockwell and the late Carles Delph. Great-grandparents are Grey Morrison of Richfield, Dorothy Adams and C.V. and Ann Adams, all of Rockwell, and Aline Buckels of Overland, Mo.

Sabian Holloway

A daughter, Sabian Cessily Rachelle, was born to Samantha Hayes and Kevin Holloway of Salisbury on Sept. 24, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces. Grandparents are Steve Hayes of Quincy, Fla., Jonell Fain of Donaldsonville, Ga., and Kevin and Mary Holloway of Salisbury.

Westin McEwen

A son, Westin Hunter, was born to Ashley Cummins and Robbie McEwen of Cleveland on Sept. 14, 2009, at Forsyth Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces. He has one brother, Wyatt Thomas, 13 1/2 months. Grandparents are Robert and Kelley McEwen of Cleveland and Lisa Cummins of Fountain City, Ind. Great-grandparents are Marvin McEwen and Elmer Wilmot, both of Richmond, Ind. and Willie Hicks of Robbins, Tenn.

Bromley Earnhardt

A son, Bromley George Byron, was born to Carol and Keith Earnhardt of Salisbury on Sept. 14, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 5 1/2 ounces. He has a sister, Ella, 5. Grandparents are Pete and Carol Snyder of Cleveland and Jim and Kay Earnhardt of Salisbury.

Colton Flora

A son, Colton Scott, was born to Richard and Natasha Flora of Salisbury on Sept. 23, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds. He has one brother, Kendrick, 3. Grandparents are Wayne Flora of Davie County, Edna Jumper and Jack Hoover, both of Salisbury, and the late Jenny Hoover.

Zein Murray

A son, Zein Cole, was born to Craig and Karol Murray of China Grove on Sept. 23, 2009, at NorthEast Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 4.8 ounces. He has two sisters, Seraiah, 10, and Cheyenna, 9. Grandparents are Dennis and Patricia Schenck of China Grove. Great-grandparents are Helen Schenck of Mooresville and William and Kathleen Walters of China Grove. Abagail Carter

A daughter, Abagail Marie, was born to Jennifer Lanier and Stephen Carter of Salisbury on Sept. 26, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. Grandparents are John Lanier of Salisbury, Waltraud Lanier of Statesville and Jimmie and Sandy Carter of China Grove. Great-grandparents are Fran and Lowery Lanier of Statesville and Junior and Marcie Elder, Gertie Walters, C. Bruce Carter, Cecil Elder, all of China Grove.

Brena Miller

A daughter, Brena Alina, was born to Magaly Diaz and Barry Miller of Ruther Glen, Va. on Sept. 7, 2009 at Potomac Hospital. She weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces. Grandparents are John and Dinah Miller of Ruther Glen, Va. and Hubert S. Miller.
