Zane Shirley
A son, Zane Alexander, was born to Kristina Renee Knotts Adkins and Jeffrey Dean Shirley of Salisbury on Sept 2, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Grandparents are Robert Haynes Shirley and Linda Rouse Shirley, both of Salisbury, the late Robert Homer Knotts Sr. and the late Ethel Kesler Knotts.
Kathryn Norris
A daughter, Kathryn Virginia, was born to J.W. and Melissa Norris of Wilmington on August 26, 2009, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She weighed 7 pounds, 6 ounces. Grandparents are Phil and Edie Norris of Salisbury, Linda Palma of Mendham, N.J. and the late Robert Palma.
