- St. Peter's Lutheran Church Rally Day, "God's Wonderful Creation," Dan Nicholas Park this Sunday, at the Friends of Dan Shelter for Sunday school beginning at 9:30 a.m. Worship follows in the open air shelter at 10:45 a.m. Service conducted by Jimmie Morgan and Joyce Cross. All youth and their parents are invited to attend.

- Gospel choir of New Zion Baptist Church, 2875 Dunn's Mtn. Road, celebrating 26th anniversary Sunday at 4 p.m.. The Price Sisters of Pageland, S.C. will be in concert. Public invited. The Rev, Paul Jones Sr. is pastor.

- Genesis Baptist Church homecoming Sept.27. The Rev. Gene Edwards, pastor of Genesis, will bring the message. Celebration begins with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and worship at 11 a.m. The Genesis choir and special singers will provide music. Covered dish meal follows. Nursery provided. - The United Ministerial Alliance Third Sunday Fellowship Service 7 p.m. this Sunday at Solid Rock Church of God, 1004 Locke St. Speaker: the Rev. Gena Long, pastor of The Potter's House.
