Sasha Kitty's party helps Faithful friends

Stitchin’ Post Gifts, a gifts, ladies apparel and accessories shop located at 104 South Main St. in Downtown Salisbury, celebrated the birthday of Sasha, the store’s kitty, last Saturday in an event that benefitted Faithful Friends No-Kill Animal Sanctuary.

The party featured giveaways, drawings, prizes, cookies, lemonade and a special birthday cake just for Sasha.

The “live” adult-size Sasha made her debut and had pictures taken with the kids which can be found on sasha kitty facebook page.

Those who brought a donation of pet food or supplies received a special gift from Sasha.

Faithful Friends was on hand to to answer questions and provide information about the group and also brought an adoptable kitty and puppy.
