On Saturday, Sept. 13, the Rowan County Concert Association is presenting Maestros Unleashed, a dynamic duo who will perform "Pizzazz! American Style: Broadway's Smokin', Pop Goes Wild and Beethoven's Got the Blues."

Supported by a rhythm section, pianist and vocalist extraordinarire Brian Gurl together with violinist and fiddle wizard Lenny Ski bring an amazing variety of music to their audiences.

Showcasing classical and semi-classical stylings, together with jazz and blues, show tunes, pop favorites and dramatic production numbers, "Pizzazz! American Style" offers a sense of theater, a splash of musical mischief along with lots of charisma and comedy, including "Jack Benny meets Liberace."

The production features a mosaic of American music and styles, from pop, jazz, blues, ragtime, Latin and Classical stylings.

The duo will perform pieces such as "Beethoven Goes to the Ball Game," "Phantom of the Opera," "Muddy Dog Blues, " "West Side Story," and "Orange Blossom Special."

The show will be held in Keppel Auditorium on the Catawba College campus.

Single event tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students, 18 and under. Season tickets are $55 for adults, $20 for students and $120 for families and $60 for a single parent family.

Tickets and season brochures are available at the Salisbury Belk, the Literary BookPost, the Rowan Visitor Center, Frostbites and the Rowan Arts Council.

Tickets will be available at the box office in Keppel Auditorium an hour before the show.
