Garden Game: Cabbages

Harold Heilig and Dione Kennedy with big cabbages

E-mail to a friend

Call them a cabbage patch couple. Harold Heilig, 47, and Dione Kennedy, 41, have been growing huge heads of cabbage for years. They were first featured in the Post Garden Game in 2001, and they've already harvested some 9-pound cabbage this year in their garden at 516 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. in Salisbury. They grow other vegetables, too, but you can tell what gives them most pride.
