Rail Walk Studios and Gallery is now at full capacity. Artists include:

* Jimmy Lee Alston

* Carol Dunkley

* Sharon Forthofer

* Norma Velasquez-Frink

* Annette Ragone Hall

* Patt Legg

* Marietta Foster Smith

Smith is also executive director of Rowan Arts Council, which is headquartered there.

The gallery opened almost two years ago, and has been drawing artists ever since.

"We just wanted to have the right people — and I think we do," Smith says.

With the addition of artists has come expanded hours.

Rail Walk Studios and Gallery will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. The artists will take turns hosting the gallery each day, Smith says, opening up every morning and greeting the public.

The next Rail Walk show is the Faces of Abundant Living, which runs July 8-Aug. 14. Many of the Rail Walk artists participated in this exhibit of portraits of people who are clients at Abundant Living Adult Day Services.
