Poison ivy seminar

MOCKSVILLE — Davie County Senior Services is sponsoring a poison ivy seminar.

The event is set for 10:30 a.m. May 22 at the site at 1723 Farmington Road in Mocksville.

The speaker of the seminar will be Dr. Zoe Hollenbeck of Davie County Hospital, who will speak about how to spot, treat, and avoid poison ivy. This event qualifies for the Older American's Month drawing. Those attending are asked to RSVP by May 15 by calling 336-753-1087.
