Faith Talley

A daughter, Faith Marie, was born to Shannon and Connie Hill Talley of Salisbury on April 17, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 8.4 ounces. She has a brother, Deven, 3, and a sister, Kayla, 6. Grandparents are Ray Hill of Gold Hill, the late Carolyn Hill, and Joann and Dan Talley Jr. of Rockwell. Great-grandparents are Bernice Morgan of Salisbury, Jettie Hill of Gold Hill and Ganelle Carpenter of Ennice.

Keegan Merrell

A son, Keegan Reppard, was born to Lucas and Tinsley Merrell of Salisbury on April 30, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces. He has a brother, Landon West Merrell, 2. Grandparents are Linda and Lanny Merrell of Rockwell, Jim Gordon of Brooksville, Fla. and Lee Gordon of Land O'Lakes, Fla. Great-grandparents are Pauline Lefler of Rockwell and Beatrice Merrell of Salisbury.

William Vaughn Jr.

A son, William Clayton, was born to William Clayton and Meredith Burleson Vaughn of Martinsville, Va. on March 4, 2008, at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden. He weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Lanny and Connie Burleson of Salisbury, and Marilyn Vaughn and Bill and Sandra Vaughn, all of Martinsville. Great-grandparents are Mildred Burleson of Albemarle, John and Evelyn Holmes of Martinsville and Garland and Genelle Knight of High Point.

Hannah Green

A daughter, Hannah Grace, was born to Randy and Jennifer C. Green of Salisbury on April 30, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces. She has a brother, Caleb Robert, 6, and a sister, Carly Makenna, 4 1/2. Grandparents are Mike and Sandy Carbonaro and Brenda and Kenneth Green, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Mary Lee of Salisbury, John Carbonaro of Mesa, Ariz., Jeanette Dockery of McCaysville, Ga., and Jewell and Vernie Green of Blue Ridge, Ga.

Molly Hagans

A daughter, Molly Grace, was born to Lora and Todd Hagans of Salisbury on March 26, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 9 pounds, 13 ounces. She has a brother, Jacob, 3. Grandparents are Tommy and Robin Williams and Judy Poteat, all of Salisbury, and the late Mike Hagans. Great-grandparents are Clayton and Hilda Hagans of Salisbury.

Raegan Shell

A daughter, Raegan Page, was born to Jason and Heidi Shell of of China Grove on April 17, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce. Grandparents are Mike and Judy Shell of China Grove and Ray and Karen Albright of Kent, Ohio. Great-grandparents are Herb and Jean Norris of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

Emery Motley

A daughter, Emery Jayne, was born to William and Christie Motley of Mt. Pleasant on April 22, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast. She weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces. She has a brother, Lukeus, 8, and three sisters, Kayla, 16, Destiny, 12 and Brooklyn, 5. Grandparents are Bill and Ruby Motley of Mt. Pleasant, Vickie Galyan of Concord and Jimmy and Nancy Galyan of Richfield.

Alexander Johnson

A son, Alexander Charles, was born to Erik and Viviane Johnson of Kernersville on Feb. 28, 2008, at Forsyth Hospital in Winston-Salem. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Grandparents are Sheryl Johnson of Salisbury and the late James Johnson and Fred and Chantal Huestis of New Bern.

Avery Smith

A son, Avery Alden, was born to Robert Kent and Cassandra Newton Smith of Spencer on April 26, 2008, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces. He has a brother, Elliott Aubrey, 3. Grandparents are Angela Keller of Matthews, Charles and Lisa Newton of Concord, Betty R. Queen of Granite Quarry and the late Robert Lee Smith.
