Wynn Hiatt
A son, Wynn Craig, was born to Neal and Joy Barnette Hiatt of Salisbury on December 2, 2011, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces. He has three sisters, Emma 9, Neely, 5 and Brinley, 2. Grandparents are C.B. and Janice Barnette of Mt.Ulla and Craig and Ann Hiatt of Salisbury.
Karson McDaniel
A son, Karson Michael, was born to Chad and Tiffany Schenk McDaniel of Salisbury on January 6, 2012, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. He has a sister, Kaydence, 5. Grandparents are Joe and Sylvia McDaniel and Gary and Georgia Schenk, all of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Zarah Plyer, Gilbert and Evelyn (Peggy) Schenk and Genover McDaniel, all of Salisbury.
Josiah Hylton
A son, Josiah Philip, was born to Dan and Julie Hylton of Charlotte on January 16, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital Pineville. He weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces. He has two sisters, Anna, 6 and Abigail, 4, and one brother, Jonathan, 2. Grandparents are Bob and Patti Leonard of Fort Mill, S.C. and Bill and Nancy Hylton of Salisbury. Great-grand- parents are Wallas and Margaret Hylton of Salisbury.
Jenna Smith
A daughter, Jenna Nycole, was born to Diane and Jason Smith of Salisbury on January 20, 2012, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces. She has three sisters, Lea, 13, Kenzey, 3 and Kaylyn, 19 months. Grandparents are Jimmy and Helen Kinley of Woodleaf and Darrell and Debbie Smith of Salisbury. Great-grandparents are Harold Smith of Salisbury, Grace Reynolds of China Grove and Virginia Kinley of Statesville.
