- Halls Temple Church 88th birthday service for Mother M. Turner, 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Speaker: Associate Minister Robert Wood of Gray's Chapel FBH Church of Salisbury.

- Musical program at New Smith Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8025 Sandra Ave., today, 6:30 p.m. Public invited. Sponsored by the Missionary Department.

- Live concert at The Ministry of Christ Outreach Holiness Church, 220 E. Horah St., 3 p.m. Sunday. Overseer: Ernest Mack, 704-213-7726.

- Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church evening worship service 6 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Thomas Austin will deliver the message. Public is invited.

- Youth Jan. Jam, the best in area church praise bands, Sunday, Jan. 31, First Baptist Church, 223 N. Fulton St. $3. Doors open at 3 p.m., concert starts at 5:30 p.m. Battle of the "Dog Guitar" hotdog eating contest at 5 p.m. 704-633-0431.
