Carson Marino

A son, Carson Randall, was born to Jim and Brooke Smith Marino of Gold Hill on December 7, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. He weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces. He has a sister, Anna Lynne, 2. Grandparents are Randall and Ann Smith of Gold Hill and James and Lynne Marino of Cleveland, NY. Great Grandparent is Isabell Rowland (RoRo) of Albemarle.

Rileigh Swindle

A daughter, Rileigh Morgan, was born to Karen Scoggins and Jason Swindle of Salisbury on December 8, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. She weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces. She has a brother, Nathaniel Scoggins, 6, and a sister, Kirston Swindle, 2. Grandparents are Wanda and David Dunaway of Salisbury, Karl and Althea Scoggins of Shallotte and Jim and Jean Swindle of Summerville, SC. Great-grandparents are Nina Scoggins of Lexington and Sue Forsythe of Rockwell.

Mackinley Adams

A son, Mackinley Blake, was born to Jonathan and Whitney Huss Adams of Concord on December 16, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast. He weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces. Grandparents are Rick and LouAnn Adams and Gary and Beth Huss, all of Rockwell. Great-grandparents are C.V. and Ann Adams, Dorothy Adams and Wayne Morgan and Peggy Cranford, all of Salisbury, and the late Susan Huffman Morgan, Frances Strebe and Claude Pickler.
