Looking Glass exhibits student art

An exhibit of art by area middle and high school students and their teachers is currently on display in the gallery at Looking Glass Artist Collective, 405 N. Lee St.

A reception for the artists will be held Sunday, Jan. 24, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. It is free, and the public is invited.

The exhibit includes work by students of the following teachers at these schools: Mark Riley and Karen Lundgren, J.C. Carson High School; Shannon Blackmon, Southeast Middle School; Lynn Haynes of Corriher Lipe Middle School; Deborah Alexander, North Rowan Middle School; Erich Epps, West Rowan Middle School; Dallas Thomas, Knox Middle School; Emily Brinskelli and Leslie Hudson-Tolles, Erwin Middle School; Stacey Reed, Kelly Ennet and Cindy Morgan; West Rowan High School.

Works by instructors Riley, Haynes, Thomas and Alexander are also included in the show, which will remain on exhibit through Feb. 5.
