Part of sales of ornaments will go to Rowan Helping Ministries

E-mail to a friend

Anne Simpkins of Favorites and Lesley Pullium of the Rowan Convention and Visitors Center are partnering to fill the Visitors Center Christmas tree.

Any Rowan County person or business can purchase a $10 ornament for the tree. Rowan Helping Ministries will receive a portion of the proceeds.

The CloisonnŽ ornaments are in the shape of a Christmas tree, holiday candle or bell.

Businesses can sponsor the ornaments, which can also be used as a memorial, tribute to someone or a thank you.

The Rowan Convention and Visitors Center welcomes hundreds of visitors over the holidays. Rowan Helping Ministries also is especially busy during the holidays providing groceries, clothing and financial assistance.

Contact Simpkins at 704-855-2741 or e-mail with Ornament in the subject to annesimpkins@ctc.net. The Visitors center is also taking orders. To allow shipping and assembly, Oct. 15 is the deadline.
