The city of Salisbury is conducting its second annual poster contest which has recycling as its theme.
Posters must incorporate the slogan, "Think Green! Reduce, Reuse, Recycle."
The poster contest is open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
Posters should be standard 28- by 24-inch poster board and delivered to the city's Public Service Administration office at 519 N. Fulton St. by Friday, Dec. 19.
The entry back of the poster should include the artist's name, mailing address, telephone number, age and school.
Entries will be judged in four different categories: Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.
Winners will be recognized (with their families) at a 2009 Salisbury City Council meeting.
They will receive a framed winner's certificate, Salisbury Discover What's Inside prize packs.
Their artwork will be shown on Time Warner Cable's Access 16 station.
