Someone stole a pressure washer and chainsaw from a China Grove home, Rowan County Sheriff's Officials said.
Chester Merle Lemley reported the missing items from his outbuilding at 290 Deal Estates Drive between Nov. 1 and Nov. 3.
The pressure washer was valued at $500 and the chainsaw at $300.
In other Sheriff's Office reports:
- Mildred Lane Bentley reported someone used her credit card without her permission between July 19 to Oct. 8.
- H&M Wood Preserving reported a burglary at the business at 280 Zion Church Road, Gold Hill, between Oct. 14 and Oct. 21.
- Timothy Wayne Walters reported sometime during the night between Nov. 3 and Nov. 4 vandals threw a rock into the driver's side window of his vehicle while it was parked at 225 Random Drive.
- Johnny Ray Blackwelder Sr. reported debit cards were stolen from 160 Dixon Drive, the night of Nov. 4.
- William Russell Shaver found money, firearms ammunition and other items missing from his home at 738 Skyview Circle on the evening of Nov. 4.
- Gary Wayne Smith reported a laptop, jewelry, camera and other items stolen at 146 Ethel Lane, China Grove, the night of Nov. 4.
- Gary Lingle reported the theft of a garden tractor from 6765 U.S. 52 between Oct. 31 and Nov. 4.
- Tiffany Leanne Scercy, 34, was charged Nov. 4. with larceny of a firearm at 100 W. Liberty St.
- William Arthur Sturgeon, 35, was charged Nov. 4 with communicating threats at 10030 Cool Springs Road, Woodleaf.
- Darlene Barringer Gunter, 40, was charged Nov. 4 with communicating threats at 10030 Cool Springs Road, Woodleaf.
- Sherry Julian Furr, 52, was charged Nov. 4 with misdemeanor breaking and entering a building at 232 N. Main St., Landis.
- Michael Douglas Turner, 20, was charged Nov. 4 with misdemeanor violation of noise/city ordinance at 11801 Statesville Blvd., Cleveland.
- Wyatt Cuthbertson, 44, was charged Nov. 4 with misdemeanor assault on a female at 719 Wilson Road.
- Rodger Gunter, 47, was charged Nov. 4 with misdemeanor communicating threats at 175 N.C. 801, Woodleaf.
- Phillip Wayne Norton, 35, was charged with felony sex offense Nov. 4 at 8049 Long Briar Drive, Kannapolis.
- Marshall Stoner reported the recovery of four vehicle batteries found at Tamarac Marina at 9120 Bringle Ferry Road, between Oct. 1 and Oct. 30.
- Donald Lee Miller, owner of Miller Used Cars reported Nov. 5 a burglary of the business at 2038 North U.S. 29. Someone damaged a window and stole eight model cars worth about $200.
- Curtis Fisher reported Nov. 5 several items taken from two outbuildings at 600 Roseman Road. The items taken include a dirt bike, chain saw, electric drill and other tools valued just under $1,000.
- John Bouk reported a burglary at 1513 St. Pauls Church Road between Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 where an antique pocket watch, a sword, 9 mm handgun and jewelry were taken.
- Kelly Moore Thomas reported jewelry taken from 14015 Old Beatty Ford Road, Rockwell on Nov. 5. Someone forced open a bathroom window.
- A Charlotte Observer newspaper box was dumped at 1325 Litton Drive. It was reported stolen Nov. 4 and recovered Nov. 5.
- Dequilla Gibson Steele reported Nov. 5 someone broke the glass from a back door of a residence at 300 Granny's Place, Woodleaf. Jewelry, a safe and money were taken.
- Paul Eugene Bare reported between Oct. 5 and Nov. 5 a pressure washer, nail gun and a leaf blower missing from a shed at 1511 Buffalo St., Kannapolis.
- Michael Paul Knoke, 31, was charged Nov. 5 with felony second-degree rape.
- Adam Alexander Praechtl, 16, was charged Nov. 5 with misdemeanor liquor possession by a minor at 175 St. Lukes Church Road.
- Erica Jo Czibere, 18, was charged Nov. 5 with misdemeanor underage consumption at 175 St. Lukes Church Road.
- Jasmine Marquelle Connor, 18, was charged Nov. 5 with misdemeanor simple assault at 232 S. Main St.
