Staff reportA Salisbury man has been charged with child abuse after deputies discovered he was "extremely intoxicated. "
Danny Kepley, 2165 Cauble Road, was charged with child abuse and resisting law enforcement on Nov. 8.
According to a report from the Rowan County Sheriff's Office, the child's mother called the Sheriff's Office after she became concerned about his welfare. Under a custody agreement, Kepley had weekend visitation rights.
Capt. John Sifford said Kepley became combative and was extremely drunk.
