Two Rowan County residents reported to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office Nov. 2 the theft of firearms from their residences.
Larry Franklin Pruett, 615 Will Black Road, reported a rifle stolen between Sept. 24 and Oct. 30.
Earnest Lee Kirksey, 310 Tobas Road, Rockwell, reported a break-in and theft of firearms between Oct. 24 and Oct. 28. Taken were a 12-gauge Stevens pump shotgun and a 20-gauge .22-caliber Savage rifle.
In other Sheriff's Office reports for Nov 3:
- Adams Signs, China Grove, reported damage to property in the right of way at 64799 N. I-85; occurred between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2.
- Timothy Lee Odom, China Grove, reported a break-in at 3855 Daugherty Road between 5 and 9 p.m. Oct. 31. Jewelry and camera taken. Damages and items stolen was just under $4,000.
- Joshua Michael Phillips, 20, arrested Nov. 2 on felony breaking and entering.
