The Rowan County Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of a rape which occurred Tuesday.
Capt. John Sifford said the rape occurred at the victim's home, which is in an area north of Salisbury.
Sifford said the rape involves a family member.
The investigation is continuing and no charges have been filed.
Reports of incidents or arrests from Oct. 27:
- Larry Edward Roberts, 3945 U.S. 601, reported the theft of a Glock handgun and related equipment from his home between Oct. 16 and 27.
- Sarah Allyson Swicegood, 325 Hidden Hut Road, reported the theft of more than $800 in goods from her car while parked at 310 Wrangler Road, Woodleaf, between 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 26 and 6 p.m. on Oct. 27.
Reports of incidents or arrests from Oct. 21:
- Leon Juquon Dulin, 17, of 1120 Crump Circle, Woodleaf, reported he was assaulted and his iPod stolen at West Rowan High School on Oct. 21.
