RCCC offering online firefighter courses

SALISBURY — Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer two firefighter classes online beginning Nov. 2. Students must pre-register by Monday.

RCCC will offer the "Orientation & Safety" (FIP 3323) and the "Fire Behavior" (FIP 3304) courses online. The classes run through Dec. 2. RCCC will administer the end-of-course practical and written tests on Dec. 5.

RCCC is offering online sections of these firefighter courses to meet the needs and schedules of working adults who seek firefighter certification.
